The WCA is honored to be the featured charity for the Tips for Charity program during Alive After Five for the month of June. Each Wednesday night at the Boise Grove Plaza, tips earned from beer and wine sales go directly toward supporting our mission of safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault. In 2017, the WCA made almost $5,000 with the tremendous help of 24 WCA volunteers pouring beer and wine each Wednesday in July. Look for those ringing cowbells at the beer tent and drop by to say hello to us on June 13, 20, and 27!
Alive After Five, now in its 32nd year, is hosted by our friends at the Downtown Business Association who also partner with us for our holiday programs, the Giving Tree and City Santa. Every Wednesday night during June, July and August, attendees can experience live music, food, beer and wine, local vendors and more. Read more about Alive After Five in the Idaho Statesman.
