We have some great Corporate Pillars that help us throughout the year in providing safety, healing and freedom to survivors. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we would like to highlight a Corporate Pillar who especially helps our efforts to bring this issue to forefront of community conversation.

Lamar of Idaho is the largest Out of Home Advertising Company in the state and is based out of Boise. They have four satellite offices in Lewiston, Twin Falls, Pocatello and Idaho Falls. Lamar of Idaho operates over 1,200 billboard faces in Idaho, Northern Nevada, Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington. Their inventory consists of static posters and bulletins as well as digital poster and bulletin formats for providing creative ways to reach the public.

In supporting the WCA, Lamar of Idaho provides in-kind billboards throughout October that highlight how Domestic Violence impacts our community. Larry Alder, the general manager, states “We understand the importance of the services that the WCA provides to those affected by Domestic Violence in our community. We are committed to continuing our support of the WCA in helping those in need by utilizing Outdoor Advertising as an effective way to build awareness for their cause and to help put a stop Domestic Violence.” Thank you Lamar for your generous support of the WCA throughout the year, but especially in October! Look out for their billboards next time you drive around town.
