Many thanks to P.F. Chang’s in Boise for “creating a better world”. For the second year, on December 9th, P.F. Chang’s held a fundraiser at their BODO-located restaurant with twenty percent of all sales donated to benefit two families served by the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. They will stock the families’ pantries, provide a Christmas tree and decorations, Santa will visit and Christmas wish-list gifts will be bought. Cash proceeds will also be used to pay medical expenses, rent and other debts so that these families can enter 2014 debt-free. Last year’s families were overwhelmed by the generosity and caring provided by P.F. Chang’s staff who delighted the families with the magic of the Christmas spirit. Also, a huge shout-out to P.F. Chang’s hospitality team who agreed to donate twenty percent of all gratuities. What a wonderful gift to these families and how representative this outreach is of the goodness that prevails in our Treasure Valley community.
