Thank you to two Girls on the Run Idaho teams, White Pine Elementary and Peirce Park Elementary, for donating funds from a bake sale and a variety of needed items for our clients.
The girls also made a card for our shelter clients and handmade pillowcases. Thank you to these fabulous young women and their coaches/mentors for their kindness and compassion!
Girls on the Run is a physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade in and around Boise. Their mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
