Thursday, May 5 was a special day in our state: Idaho Gives. Individuals throughout the state came together to honor and support local nonprofits doing great work here in Idaho. This annual event is sponsored by the Idaho Nonprofit Center. You can learn more about Idaho Gives by visiting the website here.
To celebrate Idaho Gives, the WCA shared stories about the amazing partners the WCA has here in the community. We highlighted over 20 local partners including the Idaho Nonprofit Center, FACES, Mini Joys INC, Treasure Valley Family YMCA, United Way of Treasure Valley and Dress for Success. These organizations are all treasured partners who help our clients on their journeys to safety, healing and freedom.
We are proud to announce that on Idaho Gives 145 individuals donated a total of $11,100. This year, the money raised from Idaho Gives supports the final phase of our capital campaign “Hope Needs Space to Grow”. Our capital campaign is helping to build a new transitional housing facility for WCA clients. You can learn more about the campaign and how you can help close the gap here.
