Mother’s Day on May 11th was a splendid day for the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, as Chandlers Restaurant, along with Sunwest Bank, sponsored a wonderful celebration of food, family and friends in honor of mothers everywhere and supporting the efforts of the WCA’s work. In addition to a portion of the proceeds from the day’s sales, patrons donated $2,000, which was generously matched by Chandlers and Sunwest Bank.
Rex Chandler has been an extraordinary supporter of the WCA’s work in the community. Rex supports the WCA for a very meaningful reason. “I believe that it’s fundamentally important for members of our community to pay forward the good fortune we are blessed to have. Being raised by a single mom, I understand the challenges single moms are faced with and believe that the WCA is the most worthy of our efforts and charitable hearts,” he said.
