This year’s Healing Begins with Hope Outreach and Fundraising Event took place a few weeks ago. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the individuals and community partners who helped make our event a success. We raised just over $327,000, which will go towards providing the stability we need to continue with our vital work. Importantly, during a time when in-person events and outreach have been very difficult, we had over 600 people register to watch the event. Knowing that so many community members joined us to learn about our services and hear our survivors’ stories was truly moving. Our ability to continue our vital outreach and fundraising events are crucial in our fight against domestic abuse and sexual assault. Home is not safe for everyone, but we are here thanks to the support of our community partners and individuals like you.
As we approach the holiday season there will be many other opportunities for you to have a personal impact on the people we serve. From our Giving Tree to our holiday sponsorship programs, we are excited to continue to engage with you all as we enter the festive season.
