burrell-dianaChristina, Tara, Cindy, Marisa. These four women came to the WCA in need of safety, healing and freedom as they fled abusive marriages. All of them have a shared experience of wanting – needing – to break the cycle of violence and abuse for their children. Now, they are all thriving in their professional and personal lives. They are safe, healthy, and healing and their children are learning the look and feel of healthy relationships.

Each of these accomplished, smart, beautiful, funny, empowered, and kind women have told me that they wouldn’t be where they today are without the WCA. The WCA helps hundreds of women like Christina, Tara, Cindy and Marisa every year. These changed lives would not be possible without the help of our dedicated supporters.

Christina says, “Now, when I hear a small voice say, ‘You can’t withstand the storm. I reply back: I AM the storm.’”

YOU make this possible. Thank you!
