St. Luke’s Supports the WCA

24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 208.343.7025 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline: 208.345.7273 (RAPE)

St LukesOn Friday, January 8  the WCA received special delivery from two great supporters of our community non-profits, Beth Toal and Theresa McLeod, stopped by the WCA to hand deliver St. Luke’s’ support for both our Capital Campaign and programs. One check is in support of our Capital Campaign and the other is in support of our Financial Literacy Program and SueB 5K race. The money given towards the Capital Campaign will help us to double our transitional housing capacity and free up the needed short-term emergency shelter rooms. This is a critical need because while many clients are able to find housing options after staying in our emergency shelter, some are not. Those clients require additional time to find safe, affordable housing. You can learn more about our Capital Campaign here. Our Financial literacy program helps empower participants towards economic independence and you can learn more about that program here.  The SueB Memorial 5K Run/Walk is an annual event honoring the memory of SueB and celebrating healthy families in our community. The event raises money for the WCA endowment fund. You can learn more about the annual race here.  We are so grateful for their partnership and continued support for our clients on their journey to safety, healing and freedom. You can learn more about St. Luke’s by visiting their Facebook Page and website.
