big le boiseSaturday, June 2nd was a BIG day indeed – Sally Freeman at the Boise Weekly sponsored The Big Le Boise! The Boise Weekly’s annual block party, the Big Le Boise drew a crowd of over 2,200 people to celebrate the Best of Boise.

Attendees enjoyed a diverse group of art vendors, face painting by Jolene Franklin with Daydream Face Painting, music by Lounge On Fire; performances by Ophidia Studio and Xanadu artists; food from Burgerlicious, Mad Mac, Kanak Attack Katering and Foxy Franks, and refreshments from Boise Brewing and the Wyder.

A portion of the proceeds benefited the WCA, with the event raising a total of $1,500.
