12182907_10153089641005588_7750525520473595825_oOn October 22nd we were fortunate enough to host Yoga for a Cause with the BSU Women’s Center at the Boise State University Simplot Ballroom. Those who came heard both Bea and a domestic violence survivor speak and then enjoyed a free hour-long yoga practice led by the amazing Debbie Murphy. During the practice Debbie discussed how yoga is a practice of passion, curiosity, and moving into your core. She described how you find the power of your center and own resources in yoga.  Attendees heard how yoga is truly a practice in self-trust and self-trust is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. After the class ended everyone enjoyed some wonderful refreshments and participated in a silent auction benefitting the WCA and the Boise State Women’s Center. Thank you to all those who joined us for this evening of reflection and to all of those who donated wonderful silent auction items!
