With Thanksgiving just around the corner I always find myself being particularly grateful for all that I have. I am grateful to be living in a comfortable and warm home, that I can afford to eat well every day and that I don’t have to be on the alert for flood, tsunami, earthquake or hurricane warnings! However, I am mostly grateful for the people in my life that I love and who love me back. Given the work we do here at the WCA every day, I am constantly reminded that this is not to be taken for granted. I was born to parents who loved me and who made me feel that I had worth as an individual. I am married to a man who has always supported my dreams and have children who enjoy spending time with me. These relationships make me rich beyond measure. Regardless of the value of your material possessions, my Thanksgiving wish for you is that you have and appreciate the wealth that comes from relationships that foster and encourage you and your dreams.
