Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence.  The WCA's Sexual Violence Prevention & Education Campaign gives the public the opportunity to learn more about the issue and be part of the solution.

Clothesline Project 

The Women's and Children's Alliance hosts the Clothesline Project every year during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. Part of a national campaign, the Project is a visual display of art created on t-shirts by survivors of physical, sexual and emotional violence to express their stories of abuse and survival.
