Back to School – Backpack Program
Thanks to all our Back to School Backpack Program sponsors who have provided funds and supplies to help get our clients’ kids all the things they need to enter into the school year with confidence and backpack style! We have successfully supplied 83 full backpacks and school supplies this year!
Zasio – Volunteer Group
This team from Zasio came in and created kits for our community clients. This was such a wonderful opportunity to help our staff members quickly provide crucial items for day-to-day needs to clients. Thank you to team Zasio!
Girl Scout Troop 532 – In-Kind Donation
These sweet young women of Troop 532 coordinated this donation with the WCA staff. Since they worked with our coordinator they were to gather accurate information to provide these wellness kits for the children in our childcare. They were also able to receive information about healthy relationships from our Prevention Manager. Cheers and many thanks to Troop 532!
Armanino – Volunteer Group
Thank you Armanino! This wonderful group of people took in a two-day volunteer opportunity by organizing and inventorying all of the generous donations we have received in the past year. This team moved items from all over the downtown WCA and combined them into one convenient area so that staff is able to easily provide items needed at our shelter or to clients seeking serv
ices. Due to the limited storage at our shelter, this service provided by this group will help the WCA be able to appropriately distribute items to our clients and also help other nonprofits in the community.
