The Retreads
Many many thanks to the Retreads who put on an amazing virtual concert at Mardi Gras Event Center on February 27, benefiting the WCA and our many services that support children, including our free licensed childcare and children’s clinical services. The Retreads often support us yearly at The Witches night out event at The Village. However, due to Covid- 19, the 2020 October event was canceled. The Retreads still wanted to show their support for The WCA through a virtual concert and conversation featuring Deb Courson Smith of 94.9 FM The River. Many thanks to Emmeli’s Cake for the delivery of over 70 individual cheesecake slices! Our shelter Clients loved this sweet surprise! Chef Emmeli is an Idaho native who has been baking her whole life, always inspired by the world of beautiful deserts! We are grateful for your support!
St. Josephs Catholic School
Thank you to local St Joseph’s Catholic School! Students decided for National Catholic Schools week to put together a week-long donation drive with different themes each day. Including canned goods, bedding, bathroom towel sets and gift cards. They were super excited to help gather items for our clients and went above and beyond. After the donation drive was over students also learned a little bit about the WCA and healthy relationships. We are thankful for the support!
