We were privileged to work with an amazing young man, Sam, who chose the WCA as his charity of choice for his Eagle Scout project. He set up donation booth outside of area Fred Meyers and gave customers copies of our wish list so they could make purchases as they shopped.
His hard work produced 197 bottles of dish soap, 113 bottles of laundry detergent, 82 air fresheners and dozens of other items such as craft supplies, hand sanitizers, journals, calendars and more. He was also able to raise $620 in a variety of gift cards for our clients!
We are so grateful to Sam and everyone who contributed to this donation drive to provide us with so many need items for our clients that will last several months.
