Annual Meeting 2 (2) On Monday, October 16, the WCA was excited to honor seven volunteers for their hard work, commitment, enthusiasm and dedication to our organization. Honorees received a certificate, official volunteer badge, gift certificate to The Shop and WCA branded USB charger. Food was generously donated by Even Stevens and adult beverages were given to us by Jacksons’ Food Stores.

Volunteer are vital to the WCA because they provide much needed services through our programs and events. Volunteers allow us to continue our mission through their donated time, talent and treasure. During the 2017 fiscal year, 5,327 volunteers gave 10,735 hours which is equal to 5 full time employees! Congratulations to Kjeld G., Laurie B., Mhari W., Tracy C., Carrie T., Cris L., Becca M. and Cindy M! Thank you for all you do for us!

Special shout out to our seven year Child Care volunteer, Dahn Lyttle, who was honored on October 25 at the Molina Health Care Community Champion Awards! He was a finalist and earned $200 for the WCA.
